Interlibrary Loan

Vance Township Library has been a member of the Lincoln Trails Library System since 1966. This allows our library to order and borrow materials through interlibrary loan from other libraries in the system if our library does not own an item you are searching for.

In 2011, a new, larger system was formed by the merger of the Lincoln Trail Libraries System in Champaign, the Rolling Prairie Library System in Decatur, the Lewis and Clark Library System in Edwardsville, and the Shawnee Library System in Carterville. This new system became Illinois Heartland Library System.

Fairmount History Books

The library is the home of the Fairmount History books compiled from scrapbooks and other materials originally stored in the Fairmount-Jamaica Historical Society building.
